Hi, I’m Kelly Hall, LCSW!

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and able to serve clients in the states of FL, AK, MO, and MA. I am passionate about working with adults who are ready to explore their vulnerabilities and become better versions of themselves. I understand that taking that first step to ask for help is the hardest, and that all the hurt, frustration, and pain that brought you to this point are all valid! In our sessions, you can expect to be able to share your experiences in an open and safe environment.

I am passionate about mental health care, and possess skills to help clients experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, suicidal ideation, ADHD, and/or relationship issues. My therapy approach includes using CBT, solution-focused therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing to assist my clients in achieving their goals.

I understand that these issues are not exclusive from one another, but that the human mind and body is an integrated system, and every human experience is different. I provide a supportive, empathetic and compassionate environment for clients to express their emotions, but am will challenge unhealthy thoughts and habits to facilitate healing and recovery.

  • You can expect the full therapy session or intake to typically last 50-60 minutes.

  • Emote Control Counseling, LLC only offers virtual sessions at this time.

  • Yes! Everything you share is confidential! Emote Control Counseling cannot share any of your information without your consent.

    However, there are a few exceptions to this, as required by law, which include if you are a danger to self/others, report abuse of children or vulnerable adults, or your case documents are subpoenaed by a judge.

    Otherwise, any consultation with outside parties requires a signed Release of Information.

  • Emote Control Counseling, LLC holds a 24hr cancellation policy, where cancellations within 24hrs of your appointment will be charged $75.

    However, if you are able to reschedule your appointment within the SAME WEEK, the fee will be waived.

  • Yes. Emote Control Counseling, LLC is fully inclusive and affirming of LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and all diverse identities. Kelly Hall, LCSW uses a culturally responsive, client-centered, and trauma-informed approach to ensure all clients feel safe, respected, and understood. She is committed to ongoing learning so she can support all clients with cultural sensitivity and genuine care. Whoever you are, you are welcome here.

  • Emote Control Counseling works with clients to resolve depression and suicidal ideation on a long term basis, including creating thorough and collaborative safety plans.

  • No hidden fees. You only pay your co-pay/co-insurance amount (if applicable), or the self-pay rate if not using insurance. If you no-show or cancel within 24hrs, there is a $75 cancellation fee. Please visit the Insurance and Fees section for full details.

  • Emote Control Counseling, LLC only sees adults 18+ at this time.

  • Emote Control Counseling, LLC utilizes an integrative approach, unique to each client, but typically centers around CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Polyvagal Theory and more. Please see the Services page for full details.
